Payment

Payment for workshops must be made in advance. We cannot hold a place for you on a workshop until we have received your payment.

Booking a workshop

Unfortunately, The Scarlet Peacock workshops are non-refundable or exchangeable. If you need to cancel, we would be very happy for you to send a lucky friend in your place. All you need to do is provide us with their name and email address before the workshop. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Workshop cancellations and changes

In the unlikely event that a workshop is under-booked or if a teacher falls ill and no suitable replacement can be found, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. We will give you as much warning as possible by contacting you on the email address you supplied or by telephone. We will, of course, happily refund the cost of the workshop or transfer you to a different one of equal value if there is space. We cannot be held responsible for pre-booked travel arrangements, other costs of this nature or for disappointment. The Scarlet Peacock also reserve the right to change dates, times, prices and location of workshops.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, all database rights, rights in designs and know-how (in all cases whether registered or unregistered and including all rights to apply for registration) and all other intellectual or industrial property rights in any jurisdiction) in any information, content, materials, data or processes contained in or to this website belong to The Scarlet Peacock or its licensed source. The Scarlet Peacock reserve all rights in such intellectual property. The name “The Scarlet Peacock” is a trademark and trade name of Melanie Greer-Walker and Zoë Buckney and may not be used without our express written permission. All content on the The Scarlet Peacock website is our own property may not be copied or reproduced in part or whole without our express written permission, although you may make a copy for your personal use only.

Third party rights

No third party other than those of lucky recipients of The Scarlet Peacock gift vouchers are intended to benefit from any of these terms and conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Data Protection Act

We care about your privacy, so in accordance with The Data Protection Act 1998 all of the information you provide to The Scarlet Peacock will only be used for the purposes of booking workshops, marketing and general communication.  We will never pass any of your information on to any third parties.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and and contract made with The Scarlet Peacock are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The Scarlet Peacock reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.
