The Scarlet Peacock would love to help you celebrate your baby shower, hen do or birthday bash in style.

We also organise corporate team-building events with a difference, where everyone gets involved in a sociable crafting activity and gets to take home something to be proud of! We can work with your own corporate branding and identity to provide a bespoke experience for your guests, and many of our activities are suitable for both sexes.

We come to your home, workplace or a venue of your choice, and bring our sewing machines, fabrics, ribbons, trims, needles, scissors, embroidery thread and all of the other materials you need to create your precious items, and do all the setting up and clearing up for you.

We are very happy to tailor the event to your specific requirements where possible, but are some ideas to get you started:

Decorate Delicious Cupcakes

Each guest decorates yummy cupcakes with swirly buttercream icing, flowers, handmade butterflies and all manner of sparkly sprinkles and gets to take them home in a professional presentation box. (1.5 hours) or a full Cupcake Decorating Masterclass including sugarcraft flowers (2 hours).

If flowers and butterflies aren’t your style we can also do lots of other themes including Burlesque, The Ultimate Chocolate Decadance, and even Groovy Gardening or Spicy Mexican! The world is your (cupcake) oyster….

Wonder Undies!

Make your own super-glam knickers with real va-va-voom from stretch lace (either hand or machine sewn) and embellish them with gorgeous Swarovski crystals, ribbons, bows, sequins, tassels, flowers and more. (2 hours or 1.5 hours if you would prefer to glam up shop-bought undies).

Razzle Dazzle ‘em!

Beautiful Bottom Drawer Embroidery

Transfer a groovy design (or get creative with one of your own) onto a vintage handkerchief, t-shirt, pillowcase, tea towel or baby bib/babygro and bring it to life with smashing embroidery stitches (no previous stitching experience required), beads, sequins etc.

Ideal for a baby shower or hen party! (2 hours)

Jolly Beautiful Bunting!

Get together to make a string of fabulous fluttery stuff, embellished and personalised as a lovely reminder of the host’s party. Great for weddings, but this also works well as a corporate team-building event.

Fun on its own, or this can be combined with other activities for a longer session (we will sew your lovely bunting up for you whilst you get busy with another activity) (1.5 hours)

Extras

Each party booking includes a complimentary bottle of bubbly for the host!

We can also supply tea and handmade cakes served on our beautiful vintage china tea service for £5 per person.

Numbers

Minimum 5 or alternatively we are happy to run any workshop with fewer people at the equivalent minimum cost for the session.

Prices

£20 per person, per hour of activity (we do not include our set up and take down time). Please note that we may also make an additional charge for our travel time/direct costs if the party is held outside our area. We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the remainder to be paid 14 days in advance of the event.
